Mattresses can't go in the trash in Massachusetts anymore.
Since November 2022, MassDEP bans mattresses and box springs from household trash. Many towns won't take them at the curb or charge for a special pickup. We handle it and recycle them properly.

Common Questions
Why can't I just put my mattress out with the trash?
Massachusetts added mattresses and textiles to its waste-disposal bans in November 2022, so haulers and transfer stations can't landfill or burn them. Most towns either refuse them at the curb or make you book and pay for a special pickup. We take them straight to a mattress recycler.
Do I need to be home?
No. Leave the items at the curb, in the driveway or in an unlocked garage and we'll text you when they're gone. If we're carrying something out of the house, someone needs to be there.
What happens to the tires?
They go to a licensed tire processor where they're shredded for fuel, playground surfacing or other products.
Can you take window and portable air conditioners?
Yes. Window units, portable ACs and dehumidifiers are $30 each. They go to a metal recycler that handles the refrigerant properly, so nothing gets vented or landfilled.
How soon can you come?
Most pickups happen within a few days, and next-day is often available. Just ask when you book.
How do I pay?
Card or Venmo, after the pickup is done.
What if I have more than a couple of items?
For a garage or basement cleanout, a small dumpster from Tiger Dumpsters is usually cheaper. We'll tell you honestly which makes more sense.
